Катькало Валерий Сергеевич

Доктор экономических наук, профессор ВШМ СПбГУ. Декан и заведующий кафедрой стратегического и международного менеджмента ВШМ СПбГУ.

Закончил экономический факультет ЛГУ в 1986 г. по специальности "политическая экономия". В 1989 г. защитил кандидатскую диссертацию по кафедре экономики современного капитализма.

В 1990-1991 гг. учился в Школе бизнеса им. У.А. Хааса Калифорнийского университета в г. Беркли, США (научный руководитель – О.И.Уильямсон)

В 1993 г. стал идеологом и одним из основных создателей Высшей школы менеджмента СПбГУ. С 1996 г. по настоящее время является деканом ВШМ СПбГУ.

В 2007 г. защитил докторскую диссертацию по истории стратегического менеджмента (см. книгу Катькало В.С. Эволюция теории стратегического управления: монография // С.-Петерб. гос. ун-т, Факультет менеджмента.-СПб.: Издат. Дом С.-Петерб.гос.ун-та, 2006).

Научный редактор хрестоматии "Ресурсы, динамические способности и стратегии фирм" (пер. с англ.). ВШМ СПбГУ (готовится к изданию).

Научный редактор статей по стратегическому менеджменту в серии словарей Economicus.
